Yesterday afternoon the seventeen?
months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Omer A.
Tompkins, who live at the foot of Sugar
Loaf Mountain just outside the northerly

Monday evening’s Marysville Democrat
says: ~The matter of guardianship of the
woman who committed suicide in Wheatthe Superior Court Saturday and this
morning.
Shortly before the woman died she gave
the child to Mrs. Miller, of Wheatland, to
raise, But several ladies of that town
have. decided that the infant must not be
