{ THE DAILY TRANSCRIPT. BROWN & CALKINS, Proprietors. — . Sudden Death. Telegraph: Monday morning Joseph Gotthard died suddenly in a cabin near Rondolph Flat on the Rough and Ready road. He was working for John Mitchell and had become under the influence of liquor and he walked down to Rough and Ready, where it is ‘supposed he got more drink. Gotthard become very sick and sat down . fare by applying to the. by the roadside, where he was found by Charles Holman, who has a cabin near by. The sick man wasassisted into the ©.ibin and-made comfortable. Holman left and went to Rough and Ready. On returning Holman found Gotthard sitting up at the table with some food at his hand as if he was about to eat, but he was stone dead.
