An Analysis
The sworn certificate of a San Francisco chemist
gives the following result of an anlysis of several
brands of tea purchased in the open market:
No. 1. (Black.) Colored with plumbago and indigo.
No. 2, (Black.) Colored with indigo, plumbago and
gypsum,
No, 3. (Green,) Colored with Prussian blue and
yellow ochre,
No. 4. (Green.) Excessive coloring, consisting of
Inigo and aluminonus earth,
No. 5. (Uncclored? alleged.) Colored with plum.
