ORDINANCE NO. 102.
An Ordinance Providing For the Con. struction of Sidewalks from Roger
Williams Ravine to Spring Street,
and also on Spring and Findley
Streets.
The Beard of Trustees of the City of
Nevada do ordain as follows :
Section 1. It is hereby declared necessary for the public use and convenience
that sidewalks be constructed on the west
side of the street from Roger Williams
Xavine to Spring street, and thence along
Honig Neary: on the south side, to thc
large bowlder, at the west boundary of
the property of A. Lones. Also a ‘side
walk along Findley street;on the east
side, from Broad to Spring streets.
Section 2. Such sidewalks shall be two
feet in width, and the boards of the walk
shall be of spruce lumber 12 inches wide
by 2 inches in thickness. The sills of said
sidewalks shall be heart of cedar, 4 feet
apart, and shall be.4 inches wids by 4
iuches in thickness. The boards shall be
nailed down by 4 inch wire nails, and the
said sidewalks shall be laid lengthwise
with the street, on which each is laid,
and each sidewalk shall be of the same
grate as the street on which the same ‘jis
aid.
Section 3. Said sideWalks shall be constructed under the superintendence and
direction of ‘the Street Superintendent,
and the property-holders, and owners of
lots having a frontage en the sides of the
