The Garibaldi mine is running its
five stamps milfat Gold Valley, and
the owners appear to be well satisfed
with their pro-pects. This mili is on
the Eust‘Fork nesrly three miles from
the mine. ~The ore is transpor'ed’ from
the mine to the mill on a wire rope of
two spans. Each span of wire is about
one mile long withont any supgort.
The ore is dropped at the center sta
tion and picked up and carried op}
again. We blieve this is the only
tramway: of the kind in-tle countrrs
