J. M. Smith, Plaintiff. and to answer the
complaint filed therein, within ten dayy

will be taken against you by default, according fo the prayer of said complaint.
The said action is brought to obtain judgment against said defendant for the sum of
$3864 313¢-100, with interest thereon from
January 22 , 1884, at seven per cent. per~
annum, and for costs of suit.
For cause of action, Plaintiff allege: That
on the 22d duy of January,. 1884, in the Superior Court of the County of Nevada, Stute
of California. a judgment was duly given
und made by the suid Court in favor of this
Plaintiff and against the defendant herein
for the sum of $3864 3134-100 which saic
judgment bears interest from the date
thereof at seven per cent. perannum. That
suid judgment remains wholly unpaid. All
of which more fully appears in the Compiaint on file herein to which reference
is hereby made,
And you ‘are hereby notified that if you
fail to appear and answer the said Complaint as above required the said Plaintiff
willtake judgment against you for the sum
