The Boston Shat Down. Thomas Peard returned last night from God's Country in Eureka township where he has been superintending operations at the Boston quartz mine. Work has been ‘euspended at the mine because of a failure to find ore that* can be profitably worked. Messrs. The styles are the very latest and the goods are varied and attractive. Horse Thief Captured. A horse belonging to Wm. Bryant, near Reno, valued at $300, was stolen. on the night of October 13th. The thiet and horse were captured one mile from Colfax Saturday morning by (‘onstable Dyer and Teeter. The thief gave his name as MeWilliams, and refused to surrender until he was shot at by Dyer.
