Star mine at Grass Valley.
The town of Camptonville promises to be
a good mining camp again. Several quartz
ledges have been disevered there recently,
Geerge Blodgett, who has been driving
past couple of years, went East a few days
ago. Arthur Thomas is driving in his place.
The Richard Foote Theatrical Company left
here on Sunday for Forbestown where they
will play several nights during this week.

the annual convention of the California
Miners’ Association will be held*in San
