Be it ordered by~ the Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada, State of California, that the Western Union Telegraph Company, its successors, and assigns, are authorized to erect and maintain on the streets, alleys and public ways of said City the poles and fixtures and wires-necussaryfor the purpose of anpplying the citizens of said City and the publie, communication by telegraph, or other improved electrical device, such use to be and continue upon the terms and _conditions hereinafter stated, for the term of tifty years troni the date of -the-passage-ol chis Ordinance.
