One fourth cup chopped onion
2 ths. fat or salad oil
2 tsp. salt
3 peppercorns
1 bay leaf
2 cups boiling water
one and one third cups pisetiit
dough
Flour
Sauteed mushrooms
“BOILED” SMOKED
PICNIC SHOULDER
Use 5-8 Ib. smoked picnic shoulder,
aliowing 4% lb. per person. Cover
“ with water; bring to boiling point.
* Gover; simmer until tender, allowing 45 min. per Ib.
BUTTERSCOTCH CORN
FLAKE BARS
2 eggs
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
Cool; cut in bars.
