Joseph H. Pope, 54, Grass Valley

last Wednesday. ~
The funeral services will be held
at the W. F. Gormley and Song chapel at Sacramento this morning. Rev.
T,. H. Mee will officiate and: interment will tbe (made in the Odd Fellows
Lawn cemetery. .
‘Pope was a, member of the Grass
Valley lodge of the American Order
of the Sons of St. George and had a
sreat many Grass Valley friends and
acquaintances through his employment and residence for such a long
period. He was a native of England.
(Deceased is survived iby the widow,
Mrs. Emma Jane Pope and two sons
William George Pope of Grass Valley
and Joseph H. Pope, Jr., of Grass
Valley.
