Obituaries Ruth Truscott Ninty-year-old Ruth Evelyn Truscott died Sunday at a Grass Valley medical facility. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Cremation arrangements have been completed with Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, Grass Valley. Burial of remains will be in the City Cemetery, Grass Valley. Mrs. Truscott is survived by a Evelyn Arenz of Grass Valley; a granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” in 1974. The family prefers contributions to a favorite charity. A native of Silverton, Colo., she was born Oct. 24, 1897 to Fred and Minnie Grebles. She came to Grass Valley the first time in 1923 and lived here a year before moving to Stockton. had lived in Grass Valley 20 years. She worked three years as a school bus driver and was a member of Bethel Church in Grass Valley. In addition to her husband, Douglas Wright; she is survived by three sons, Robert Niece, Billy Niece, John Niece, all of Grass Valley; a stepson, Adam Wright of Lake Wildwood; her ding; a sister, Beverly Wenzel of Reno, Nev.; and brother, Hal Novak of Redding. Ethel Kolb In accordance with’ her wishes, there will be no funeral for Ethel Gertrude Kolb who died Monday at a Grass Valley medical facility. She was 77.Cremation arrangements have been completed by Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, Grass Valley. She was born to Josiah and Myra LeFever on March 24, 1911, in Valhalla, N.Y. She lived in New York until coming to Grass Valley four years ago. Mrs. Kolb is survived by her husband, Otto; a daughter, Juanita Dickson of Walnut ~~ Créek; two Sisters, Grace Cook — of South Salem, N.Y., Mildred Yates of Florida and two grandsons.
