She died at her home Dec. 30 at the age of 73. Hooper & Weaver Mortuary of Nevada City was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Misrock was a native of Natoma, Calif., born June 7, 1914, to the late Charles and Grace Himes. She had been a resident of Nevada City for 42 years, attending Nevada Union High School and Mt. St. Mary's Secretarial School. For seven years she was a secretary with the Nevada County District Attorney’s office. She is survived by her husband, Henry, and two cousins, Claire Smiley of Marysville, and Alen Smiley of Sacramento. The family prefers donations to the Cancer Aid Thrift Shop of Grass Valley.
