. Makarel Rua Zucca
Margaret Rua Zucca died
Thursday at a San Mateo hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial
was conducted Saturday morning: at St. Dunstan Church in
Millbraé.
;She was born in Numa, Iowa
on’ June 8, 1909 to John and
Lena Rua. :
Mrs. Zucca is survived by her
sons, George of. Millbrae,
Robert of Grass Valley; a
daughter, Shirley Harrington of
San Francisco; sisters, Jennie
Williams of Sam-Carlos, Jessie
Painter of Grass Valley; nine
grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. “She was

Mr. Tennell is survived by his
wife, Alma; sons, Bill of Elverta, Bob of San Bernardino, and
Gary of Sacramento; a sister,
Georgia Mae Ezell of Atdka,
Okla.; brothers, John of
Barstow, Frank of Riverside,
Jay of Victorville, Ray of Apple
Valley, George of Las Vegas,
Nev., and Jerry of Grass
Valley; seven grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.

former New Jersey senator said
he lived for a time in the wilds
of Africa during his two years
on the rup after faking his death
to avoid enemies and going to
_ jail, according to a broadcast
interview. °
David Friedland said he
staged his death in a scuba diving accident on Labor Day 1985
in the Bahamas to escape people who thought he would testify
against him and to avoid a
seven-year prison sentence, according to a transcript of the interview to be broadcast today
on “CBS This Morning.”
