Lyle Michael Spengler
Lyle Michael Spengler of
Nevada City died Thursday at a
Grass Valley medical facility.
In accordinance with his
wishes, no funeral services
were conducted. Hooper &
Weaver Mortuary of Nevada
City made arrangements to donate his body to medical
science.
Mr. Spengler was born March
16, 1913, in in Minnesota, the son
of Joseph and Lilly (Luke)
Spengler (deceased). He worked for Colgate Palmolive for 30
years as a mechanic. ;
He lived in Nevada County for
many years and belonged to the
National Association of Retired.
Federal Employees.
He is survived by his widow,
_Marion; two daughters, Louise
and Marie of Grass Valley; a
son, Larry of Rodeo;
grandchildren; one -greatgrandchild; three sisters, Lrene
Gay and Hazel Domeck of
Milwalkee, Wis.,
Norton of Rhinelander, Wis.;:
and two brothers, Joe of Olympia, Wash., and Kenneth of
* Martinez.
