Charles Robertson
A \memorial service for
Charles Gray Robertson will be
conducted Thursday at 1 p.m.
at Sierra\Presbyterian Church
in Nevada City.
Mr. Robert$on, 74, a resident
of Grass Valley for the past 11
years, died at his home Saturday. He was born*in Arbroath,
Scotland; on July 13,
moved with his family to
California when he was 2. He

American ciitzen.
During World Wer II, he
worked with the U.S. Navy in

radar. Thereafter he rejoined
KCBS radio and was associated
with it for 32 years in San
Francisco. He developed his
love for the Grass Valley area
when he was assigned to the
CCCs in 1930 and upon his
retirement he returned to live
here.
Mr. Robertson is survived by
his wife, Erma; a brother, Al of
1913; andA Gras Valley contractor is
