Thelma Wilbanks
In accordance with her wishes,
+ ae a
no funeral servicés will be conducted for Thelma U. Wilbanks, 83,
of Grass Valley. She died Thursday
at a Grass Valley medical facility.
Mrs. Wilbanks was born May 3,
1907, in Alaska. She was a Nevada
County resident for 20 Years and
had been a homemaker all her adult
life.
She is survived by son James E.
Florence of Rough and Ready, and © ©
five grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilbanks will be cremated
under the direction of Foothills
Cremation Service in Auburn.
Eugene Haehnel
In accordance with his wishes, no
services will be conducted for
Eugene-James Hachnel of Grass
Valley. He died Thursday at his
residence. He was 87.
Mr, Haehnel was born Jan. 11°
1903, in Ruhla-Thur, Germany.
Prior to moving to Grass Valley
two years ago, he lived in Borrego
Springs for 10 years. He had been a
Seatule, Wash., resident most of his
life. Before retirement, he was an
accountant for SOQ years. Mr.
Hachnel was an avid bridge player
and a member of the Forest Springs
Park Bridge Club in Grass Valley.
He also enjoyed working with
computers.
He is survived by his wife Ruth
of Grass Valley; daughter Barbara
Sutphin of Grass Valley; brothers
Alfred of Huntington Beach and
Karl-Heinz, Hans, and Kun — all
of Berlin, Germany. .
His cremation is under the direc-tion of Foothills Cremation Service
in Auburn. Memorial donations
may be made to the Salvation Army
and left with the staff at Foothills
Cremation Service.
Ronald Wickham
Friends of Ronald Lee Wickham
are invited to attend graveside services Monday at 2 p.m. at the New
Elm Ridge Cemetery. Mr.
Wickham died Sept. 5 in
Sacramento at the age of 44.
