Sharon Osborne
Sharon Mader-Osbome, 33, a
lifetime Nevada County resident,
dicd Wednesday at a Truckee medical center.
Mrs. Osborne was bom Apnil 20,
1956, in Grass Valley to Lawrence
and Joun Mader of Rough and
Ready.
She lived in Nevada City and
Rough and Ready unul four years
ago when she moved to Truckee.
Mrs. Osbome, an avid horseweman, graduated from Nevada
Union High School and attended
Sierra College.
She is survived by her husband
Lee; her parents; brothers Dennis
Mader of Orangevale, Ken Mader
of Stockton, Alan Mader of
Auburm, and a grandmother.
A funeral service will begin at 11
a.m. Friday at the Truckee-Tahoe
Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be a3
p.m. Friday at the Rough and
Ready Cemetery.
A Sharon Osborne Memorial is
being established with the Truckee
River Bank, P.O. Box 789,

John Gallino
Visitauion will be from noon to 9
today with a rosary begining at 7:30
tonight at the Hooper and Weaver
Monuary in Nevada City for John
Gallino. A funeral service will
begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary followed by a bunal at St.
Patnick’s Cemetery.
Mr. Gallino, 78, a longume
Nevada County resident, died
Tuesday at a Grass Valley medical
facility.
Mr. Gallina was born Oct. 12,
1911, in Pralormo, Italy, to the late
Antone and Margunta (Accacato)
Gallino.
Mr. Gallino arrived in Grass
Valley as an infant where he latter
attended school. He began working
for the Union Ice Co. as a
deliveryman and operated the Shell
Service Stauon on East Main
Street.
He worked a brief ume in the
local mines and in the early 1940s
became a genéral contractor and
member of Gallino Dorville Kohler
Construcuon Co. until 1979, He
then worked for the Chapek Construction Co. in Sacramento as a job
bidder.
Mr. Gallino also was a building
inspector for the state of Califomia
and served on the Grass Valley
Planning Commission from 1979 to
1983.
He was a member of the Grass
Valley Elks,
umbus and St. Patrick's Church.
He is survived by his wife
Dorothy; daughters Roberta Brodnansky of Sacramento and Frances
Jones of Happy Camp; son Frank of
San Antonio, Texas; brothers
Manuel and Bill, both of Grass
Valley; sisters Kay Graham,
Jeanette Casci and Cece Fowler, all
of Nevada City, Norma Stevens of
Lincoln and Midge Scouen of
Grass Valley; 10 grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren.
