Mrs. Kissig was bom Sept. 27, 1913, in Summerville, Mass., to Carl and Edith Hermanson. They ‘moved to the Los Angeles area in 1923 and to Camptonville in 1945. Before retiring from her clerk position at the the Camptonville post office in 1974, Mrs. Kissig worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Camptonville, Long Mercantile Co., and Sierra Mountain Mills. She is survived by her husband Ned, of Camptonville; son Don, of Niles, Ill; sister Myrtle Chambles and three grandchildren, day in-Auburmn, Mr. Long was born in Ocean Beach to Graydon and Florence Long. A Browns Valley resident, he was active in the Nevada City Odd Fellows, the Native Sons and the Golden Empire Grange. Mr. Long served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years before his retirement in 1965. After military service, he worked at military installations in Sacramento and Long Beach. He is survived by his wife Anne, and aunt Olive Suenstra of Scous Valley. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Grass Valley Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
