SAN FERNANDO CEMETERY
This cemetery, earlier known as Morningside Cemetery, is the
753 oldest nonsectarian cemetery in San Fernando Valley. It was
established in the early 1800's and was still active until 1939.
The cemetery was legally abandoned in 1959. In the same year
Mrs. Nellis S. Noble donated this site in memory of the pioneers of San Fernando as a pioneer memorial park.
