Dear Ms. Foley:
The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for
the proposed project on Highway 20 in Nevada County
between 6.5 miles east of the Yuba County and Grass
Valley, has been approved by the U. S. Department of
Transportation.
In order to complete compliances with the National
Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the FEIS is made
available to the Council on Environmental Quality and
to the public for a 30-day review period before iniating action on the project. Attached on pehalf of the
Federal Highway Administration in accordance with 23
CFR 771, is a copy of the FEIS for your review. A
response is not required and it will be assumed that
you have no comments if no reply is received.
