A Word From Our President Dear Members, Our first meeting of 1978 was a very enjoyable one for me, and I believe an enjoyable one for most of you. Our new format seems to be a refreshing change, and the free time was well spent by all. Richard’s and Dick’s snake stories were a riot. Frank came up with his usual excellent program. I’m looking forward to April already. Fred Leoni FERRO QUNA TONIC Imperiales M Lused daily this wonnp derful tonicin Europe Cigarettes and America. Up take pleasure in The John Bollman Co., S. ROSSI : 1400 Dupont St., Pacific Coast Agent The Leading Table Water Minutes Of Last Meeting The first meeting of the NBCA for 1978 was called to order by President Fred Leoni at the Coddingtown Community Room in Santa Rosa on Sunday, February 12. Betty Zumwalt informed the members present that she has paid $30 for the club flea market space. A system was then discussed whereby the club would take a percentage of all bottles sold by members at the club table. No exact figure was arrived upon, but a 25%-75% split with the smaller amount going to the club was talked about. A discussion regarding a reimbursement to Betty was tabled until such time as a treasurer’s report could be given. Fred Leoni asked for the 1978 dues to be paid, and many members did so at the meeting. The deadline for renewal of membership is March. The idea of adding other collectables to the club such as antiques, artifacts from metal detecting and beer cans was brought up and favorably discussed. Frank Sternad asked members to bring articles of stoneware and pottery to the next meeting. The meeting was then adjourned in favor of a slide program presented by Frank Sternad and Eric McGuire.
