The Tenth Generation in America
1. Frederic Gilbert Rector, son of John Mott and
Concetta Helen Rector, born in Detroit, Michigan, May
24, 1931. ‘Fritz’? came to San Francisco with his parents
at the age of three and attended the public schools in that
city. Following graduation from high school, he entered
San Jose State University inSan Jose, and after two years
of college work, he enlisted in the Medical Corp of the
Army of the United States. He served for three years,
two of which were spent in France and Germany. After
discharge from the service, Fritz returned to San Jose
State and was graduated with a BS degree in chemistry
in 1959. For several years he was employed as a clinical
chemist by Von Waters and Rogers, a large chemical
firm headquartered in San Francisco.
Frederic married Anneliese Muller, a native of
Aslar-Westlar, Germany in Nevada City on August 20,
1960. They have no children. At the present time they
reside in Mill Valley, California. Fritz is self-employed
as a building consultant in the Bay Area.
2. John Mott Rector, IJ, son of John Mott and
Concetta Helen Rector was born in San Francisco on
June 8, 1936. After attending the public schools, John
entered the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada and
majored in business administration. Following college
he spent two years on Wall Street with the investment
banking house of R. W. Pressprich and then returned to
San Francisco where he was employed by the same firm.
John married Irene de Ponza of San Francisco on
May 13, 1960. There are three children: Lisanne Dolores,
born in San Francisco November 29, 1962, Cynthia
Helen, born in San Francisco November 23, {26 an
