5. Connie Ann Rector, daughter of E. William Rector and Evelyn Gallion Rector was born in the Canal
Zone on December 27, 1946. After attending the public
schools of Carmichael, Connie entered Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and was graduated with a BA
degree in 1968. After spending one year in VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) in rural Colorado, she
entered California State University at San Bernadino
where she obtained a teaching credential in elementary
education. Connie is presently employed as an elementary teacher in Wrightwood, California.
6. John Rector Larue, son of John Lloyd Lame and
Margaret Rector was born in Nevada City on October 10,
1941. He attended the local schools and was graduated
from the University of Nevada at Reno where he majored
in mathematics. Since college, John has been employed
as a specialist in the computer division of IBM. He was
sent to Viet Nam by the company in 1967 and was there
during the Tet offensive of 1968. He presently is located
in Washington, D.C. *
7. Marianne Larue, daughter of John Larue and
Mary Margaret Rector Larue was born in Nevada City
on June 27, 1946. She attended the local schools and
the University of Nevada at Reno. Marianne specialized
in computerization at Healds Business College and is
presently employed by Pacific Telephone Company. On
July 28, 1973 in Nevada City, she married William
Snodgrass of San Francisco and they now reside in
Pinole.
8. Marcia Carol Ray, daughter of Harris Ray and
Ruth Griffith Rector Ray was born in San Francisco on
January 25, 1946. After attending the Anna Head School
for girls in Berkeley, Marcia entered the University of
