Al WIT Tet An Alumni Association, a thing dreamed of and talked of for many years is at last a realization. The Alumni of the Nevada City High School were brought together by the Class of ’16 at a delightful entertainment which took place at the high schoo] on January 17, 1916. It was at this meeting that they formed their organization and elected the following officers: President, Frank Nilon, Jr.; Vice-president, Elizabeth Richards; Secretary, Ruth Grimes; Treasurer, Mrs. Belle Douglas. A constitution has been drawn up and from now on a reunion will be held at least once a year. As is the custom of the department the changes in residence and occupation of former graduates are noted as follows: : 1882—-Mary Hook—Mrs. Roe of Fallon, Nevada, 1885—Bliza Thomas—Deceased. 1888—-Thomas Goyne—Deceased. 1891—-Maggie Hether—Deceased. 1895—Lottie Martin—Mrs. George Adair, residing in Colfax, California. 1896—Robert Hathaway—Contractor in Nevada City. 1899—-Maud Eastin—Mrs. Molten residing in Blair, Nevada. 1908—Frank Nilon—Present address Nevada City. 1909—William Englebright—Employed near Sierra City. 1910—Carl Sutton—Dairying near Nevada City. Walter Treadwell—Employed in the Post Office at Berkeley. 1911—Mabel Pellamounter—Mrs, Harry Duhl, residing in San Francisco. Hope Lobner—attending Radcliffe College. 24.
