THE QUILL, 1928 HISTORY OF THE CLASS OF ’28 FRESHMEN On August, the twenty-fifth, in twenty four, Thirty-two green Frosh walk in through the door. To timidly start on their High School career, They are “aided” along by the kind Seniors dear. SOPHOMORES Now our number has dwindled to twenty-eight, We've given the Freshmen what we had to take. We've given our party and had lots of fun, No other class has had a better one. JUNIORS Now we are Juniors and oh! we're so proud For upper class priv leges we are allowed. Our Junior Prom certainly was a success, The finals are finished and now we can rest. SENIORS We're dignified Seniors now, on the last lap, And we're “‘forty-niners” since we all came back. Now there's more work and there's less time for play, Yet we're sorry to leave “Hi” on this, our last day. —Katherine McClish, '28.
