ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF THE
MUTUAL SAVINGS BANK OF SAN FRANCISCO, :
Know all men by these Presents: That we, the under‘signed, ‘a majority of whom are Ole and ie enone
of the State of California, have this day voluntarily
associated ESeselves together for the purpose of forming a
. cee aeatiion under the laws of the State of California.
And we hereby certify, First: That the name of said
“corporation shall be the MUTUAL SAVINGS BANK OF SAN FRANCISCO,
Second: That the purposes for which it is formed are
/to accumulate and loan the funds and savings of the stockholders
depositors, and others, and to preserve and safely invest, loan
-and collect the same for their benefit, and in general to do
end perform any and all acts or things necessary or proper
. Por carrying out the above purposes. :
Third: That the place where the principal business
of said corporation is to be transacted is the City and
County of San Francisco.
Fourth: That the term for which said corporation is
_to exist is fifty years from and after the date of its
. incorporation,
Fifth: That the number of Directors or Trustees of
said corporation shall be five, and that the names and res. idences of the Directors ot Trustees who are appointed for
