ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
or
MURCHIE GOLD MINES COMPANY.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That we, the undersigned, a majority of whom are citizens
and residents of the State of California, have this day voluntarily
associated ourselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation
under the laws of the State of California.
AND WE HEREBY CERTIFY:
FIRST; That the name of this corporation shall be
MURCHIE GOLD MINES COMPANY.
SECOND: That the purpose for which it is formed are:
(a) To engage in, and conduct generally in all its branches,
the business of mining, milling, smelting, assaying, reducing,
producing, marketing and selling gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc,
iron and other metals and ores, sulphurets and other substances
contained in precious metals, oils and minerals, and the products
thereof; and to construct, acquire, own, hold, use, lease, mortgage,
sell and enjoy all lands, franchises, privileges, easements, mills,
smelters, refineries, machinery, conduits, acqueducts, reservoirs,
tanks, pipes, paraphernalia and things whatsoever necessary, or
convenient, for the proper carrying on and conducting of the said
business, or either or any of them.
(bo) To engage in and carry on generally the business of
manufacturing, mining, contracting, mercantile, mechanical, construction, commission, lumbering, transportation, shipping and commercial
business in all their branches.
(c) To buy, sell or otherwise to deal or to traffic in
gold, silver, iron, steel, manganese, copper, stone, ores, coal,
coke, oil, wood, lumber and other materials, and any of the products
thereof, and any articles consisting or partly consisting thereof.
(d) To own, lease, purchase, patent, acquire, appropriate,
locate, operate, work, develop, buy, sell, mortgage, pledge and
otherwise deal in real and personal property of every kind, including
water, steam and electric power, and also deal in placer, quartz
