PRELIMINARY NOTICE
The undersigned having ,discovered a gold bearing
suartz vein, hereby locate 1500 lineal feet along the
ame. . .
Commencing: at the discovery shaft and running thence
tasterly and Westerly along the vein, each way there—
"rom, Seven Hundred and Fifty feet (750).
The name of the claim is the "Mistletoe",
Lode was discovered many years ago but first Known
sO us in 1893.
Lode runs nearly East and West and we claim surface
xyround Three Hundred feet (300) in width, on each side
— the middle of the vein.
The said discovery shaft is the "Mistletoe" shaft
sn the § E+ of the N W + of the S Ej of Section 23,
fo. 16, N. R. Y EH. M. D. M.
The said mining claim is marked on the ground by
feell set and appropriately marked stakes.
This notice is intended to correct any error in
yur previous notice posted March 4th. 1893, and recorded
_mi Book 12, page 334, Mining Records of Nevada County,
yalifornia.
We do not waive or abandon any rights heretofore
,equired to said premises.
The respective interests are 0. J. Kent, and G. BE.
