CERTIFICATE OF LOCATION OF A QUARTZ CLAIM. ‘We hereby certify that on the 16th day of December 1. D. 1897, we discovered and located a lode claim of quartz bearing gold named the "Mistletoe Quartz Mining Jlaim" in the Rough & Ready Mining District, Qounty of Nievada, State of California, and extending from the liscovery shaft 750 linear,feet Easterly and from said shaft 750 linear feet: festerly to stakes at each end. On the 16th day of December A. D. 1897 the date of iiscovery notice of Jocation was posted as required by tihe laws of the United States and of California, and said claim is Reconitned as follows, to-wit: Notice posted at the "Mistletoe shaft" (discovery shaft) on the § E+ of the N w+ of the S Ez of Sec. 23 Tp. 16 N. R. 7 E. M. D. M. thence following the gioourse of the lode nearly due Bast 750 ft. to stake marked "Mistletoe Hast Lode Stake";t+hence running Westerly from discovery shaft along course of lode 750 ft. too stake marked "Mistletoe West Lode Stake" boundary s‘takes are set at right angles & 300 feet distant on esach side of lode stake marked respectively Mistletoe N.. W. Cor", Mistletoe S. W.
