The sound of the drill and the bursting of rocks prevail in that region of late to the joy of every one accustomed to pass that way. A side walk aiong the street and ¢ve will be comfortably fixed in that quarter of the town. Departed.—WF. Anderson, Esq., formerly District Attorney of this county, and but for his politics in every respect a gentleman, has left with the design of becoming a permanent resident of Washoe.
