Parker's Labor-Saving Soap and Universal Chemical Stain Extractor. y
This new preparation, for its labor-saving
and renovating qualities, ‘stands before the
public without a rival. Want of space prevents the enumeration of all its advantages
and claims to popular favor. Among the scores
. the folowing are— :
F'irst-saves labor ; it supercedes the ne. nessity of ravbing and pounding, and protects
. both skin and knuckles, as well as buttons and
. clothes.
. econd—It saves time. A washing ordina. rily requiring a day may be easily accomplished in two hours.
Third—Itis economical in regard to the use
. of water, not requiring more than one-tenth ordina ily employed by common soaps.
Fourth—it will instantly remove grease and
. spots from paint without the use of any water
whatever, and thus protects carpets and furni. ture from suds and slops. ;
Fuflh—Flannels can be washed wi.hout being fulled or sticky, with the ease and rapidity
of that of cotten or linen.
Sixth—Lt is wonderfully effective in removing grease and spots from woolens and linens,
. it isperfectly harmless. It will not injure the
mast delicate fabric
Seventh—It whilens clothes and renders the
skin both soft and white, and 1s an infallible
eure for chapped hands. t
. Pighth—For shampooing, bathing and ren. ovating tho skin it is unequalled.
Ninth—It supercedes the necessity of using
. pelisbing powder® by instantly imparting a
. most brilliant lustre to jewelry, plate, Britannia, tin, copper and brass.
Tenth— is acknowledged by all who have

W. H Taylor, will leave Sacramento dail
at 8 A. M. for Marysville. Returning, wilt
about Nevada, where it can get plenty of . leave Marysville at4 P M. For freight or
water and timber, and good roads to and
from the mill. To go above it on the Creek,
neither good roads nor water could be had;
besides it would be a great way from the
market. Below the town it is worse.
This mill is built in the most substantial
and workmanlike manner, with 30 feet head
of water, and has Mr. J. M. Thurston’s water
wheel, whichis the best everinvented. We
have also anew and large flume just finished,
4 fect wide and 3,000 feet long ; laces enough
to carry water for this wheel and another if
desired, built all of sawed lumber throughout, and in the most substantial manner.
The mill and bridges and houses, are all
new and fine. The mi!l is warranted to be
able to cut over 6,000 feet of inch boards per
day. There is a large dwelling house belonging to the mill, with eight rooms in it,
with double floors and a porch built substantially, and two fine stoves worth a hundred
dollars, with allthe furniture necessary for
housekeeping’ This mill was able to run
through the dry season last summer, and is
doing a good business now. We have also
about 125,000 feet of lumber on hand in logs
at the mill. The public and those interested
are invited to call and sce. For further particulars, inquire of
WILLIAM WOOD, on the premises.
