WAY’S OINTMENT.—A most miraculous
cure of bad legs, after 43 years’ suffering.
Extract of a letter from Mr. Wm. Galpin, of St.
Wary’s street, Weymoth, dated May 15, 1851.
To Professor Holloway ;
Sir,—At the age of 18, my wife (who is now 61)
caught a violent cold which settled in her legs,
and ever since that time they have been more or
less sore, and greatly inflamed. Her agonies
were distracting, and for months together she was
entirely deprived of rest and sleep. Every remedy that medical men advised was tried, but without effect. Her health suffered severely, and the
state of her legs was terrible. I had often read
your advertisements and advised her to try your
Pills and Ointment: and, as a last resource, after
every other remedy had proved useless, she consented todo so. She commenced six weeks ago,
and strange to relate, is now in good health. Her
legs are painless, without seam or scar, and her . speaks much in favor of your asionishing Pils.

witnessed the sufferings of my wife during the ast . An
43 years, and contrast them with her present en.
joyment of health, you would indced feel delighted in having been the means of greatly alleviating
the sufferings of a fellow creature. (Signed.)

Sir—Your Pills and ointment have stood the
highest on our sale list of Proprietary Medicines
for some years. A customer, to whom I can refer
for any inquiries, desires me to let you know the
particulars of her case. She had been troubled for
years with a disordered liver and bad digestion. On
the last occasion, however, the virulence of the
att ack was so alarming, and the inffamation set in
so severely, that doubts were entertained of her
beirg able to bearup unaer it; fortunately she was
induced to try your Pills, and she informs me that
after the first and each succeeding dose, she had
great relief. She continued,to take them, and although she used enty three boxes, she is now in the
enjoyment of perfect health. I could have sent
you many more cases, but the abeve, from the se

the best brands imported; and we are grateful for the
manner in which our efforts to supply a pure and choice

CARD—From Dr. Youne’s Private MEpICAL OFFICE—TO THE AFFLICTED.—In this
age of progress, when science is developing itself
in such a manner as to appear almost miraculous,
everything in commen piace is looked upon as
not worth notice. In view of this fact Dr. Young
(at 226 1-2 Dupont st, has concluded to leave the
beaten track hitherto pursued by most scientific
physicians, that of waiting for the public to find
you out alone,) and publish to the world, as much .
as may be, his knowledge of the healing art, to let
those who may bein need of assistance know
where they can find relief without fear of being .
imposed upon.
In continuation of this object, Dr. Young would .
say, that for the past ten years he has pursued .
the practice of medicine in one of the largest cit.

and that his standing as a physician is without
reproach, having atone time been lecturer at the
University of Pennsylvania on venereal diseases, .

r. YOUNG, No. 2261-2 Dupont street.—
Mepicat Norice.—Is is highly important
that persons afllicted with private complaints,
should, on the first appearance of disease, apply
to the physician who understands disease in all
all its varions forms and stages, andcan at first
sight extinguish a slight local inflammation from
a bad constitution disease. A very little proper
medicine in the first place may save months of
sickness. My medicines are composed entirely
of vegetable ingredients, have no bad effect on the
constitution, and eradicate every particle of disease from the system.
P. S.—Recent cases of intection cured in from
two to five days, without change of diet. 24-6m oct7

CAUTION !—Private Mepicat OFFICE
Hundreds of those who have contracted venereal diseases are disappointed of a cure by not
calling on Dr. Youne at first. He will forfeit
any sum if he fails to cure any case that may
come under his care, no matter how long standing or afilicting—such as ulcers, tumors, nodes,
bunehes, pimples on the face and body, pains
in the bones and joints, wakefulness, trembling,
copper colored sores, wasting of the bone, emaciation, loss of appetite, strength and flesh, sores
in the nose and ears, loss of hair, weak cyes, itching, humors, &e. &e.
Many persons, after being relieved of external
appearances of private disease, suppose themselves
cured; but, after a few months, find they are
troubled with various symptoms which they never
had before, and which they find it inmpossible to
relieve.
Fo all who are afflicted in this way, Dr. Young,
would perteeiely recommend the trial of his
skill. ‘The gymptoms with which you are troubled are caused by venereal taints in your blood,
which, sooner or later, will destroy your health
and happiness. No person who has ever had an
attack of any private complaint, should fail to
censult Dr. Young, and take a few bottles ofhis
invaluable purifying medicines, as then they can
rest assured that their blood is in a perfectly pure
and healthy condition, and that ev trace of
disease is remoyed from the system. Recent ca:
ses cured in from two fo five days, without change
of diet or hindrance from business or no charge
made.
