flavor, and a beautiful, sparkling color. Common Rectified Whis! ey will be changed by the use of the oil of

ural aroma, a full, rich, oily taste ; a beautiful transpar

gin, &c. The first property combines with and subsides
in the form of floculent particles the whole of the ¢rain
oil, (Amylic Alcohol.) The Whiskey is thus deprived ot
that peculiar irritating and burning taste, and becomes
a neutral spirit; the second property c. ‘sists in an oily
mucillaginous taste imparted to the liquor, which renders it mellow, and imparts an appearance of great age ;
the third property is exhibited in the rich vinous nutty
odor that is imparted to the liquor, which reude 8 distinction from the genuine brands impossible.
These oils are put upin quart flasks ; each flask con

liquor, Fullani comprehensive dircctions accompany

A CARD.
PRoMPTED by an honest desire of my heart,I wisht¢
lay before the public a case which deserves a light com
mendation, not only as an act of scientific skill, bu! that
of humanity, also. About two years ago, I suddenly and
from causes unknown to me, was seiZed with a’ fit of Epi»
lepsy, which owing to my inabi! fy to meet the expenses
consequent apon athorough meaical treatment, and the
discouragement whith I met with on attempting it, soon
became such (as I was then led to believe,) a to defy the
skillof a physician. I was frequently, while impurenit'o
my calling, thrown down to the ground without the test warning, and although insensible to the agonies, I yet
despised the miseries of my life, and soow learned to look
npon those who would render me assistatee or shelter me
from dauger as enemies who sought to prolong the misery
of my existence. While in this State, and having previousto my afflictions tasted the sweets of life, lence
more ws induced to attempt seeking aid of a physician
and, by recommendation, called ow Dr. L. J. Czapkay. I
told him my circumstances, and my inability to reward
him for his services—regardless of which, however, he at
oftce undertook my case, and withthe blessing of God, I
was once more restored to perfect health. Unabie tore
ward him for the boon which I enjoy at present, and yee
conscious of my indebtedness, I consider it due tom:
and to allafflicted, to make the case public, in order tha
those in need of fn aewe advice may find a physicianim
whom every coufidence can be placed. 3
