A customer, to whom I can refer fur any inquiries, desires me to let you know: the particulars of her case. She had been troubled for . wears with a diserdered liverand bad digestion. An Extraordinary Cure of Rheumatic Fever in Van Dieman’s Land. Copy of a letter inserted in the Hobart Town Courter, of the lst March, 1851, By Maj. J) Walch. Margaret McConnigin, nineteen years of age, residing at Newtown, had been suffering froma violent rhumatic fever of upwards of two months which had entirely deprived her of the use of he limbs; buring this period she was under the care of the most eminent medical men in Hobarttown and by them her case was considered hopeless. A friend prevailed npon her to try Holloway’s celebrated Pills, which she consented to do, and in an incredibly short space of time they eflected a perfect cure. Cure of a Pain and 'Tightness in the Chest and _ Stomach of a Person of 34 years of age. From Messrs. To Professor HoLLoway :— Sis-—I desire to bear testimony to the good effects of Holloway’s Pills. For some years I suffered severely froma pain and tightness in the stomach, which was also accompanied by a shortness fof berath. that prevented me from walking about. 1 am 84 years of age, and notwithstanding my advaneed state of lite, these Piils have so reli. ved me that [ am desirous that others should be made acquainted with their virtues. 1 am now rendered, by their means, comparatively active, and can take exercise without inconvenience er pain, which I could not do before. (Signed) Henry Cor, North st., Lynn, Norfolk. An Extraordinary Cure of the Gravel and a most Dangerous Liver Complaint. Copy of a letter addressed to J. K. Heydon, Esq., Sydney, New Soulh Wales, dated Feb 25, 1951. Sir—A Mr. Thos: Clark, asettler at Lake George was for a considerable time seriously afflicted with a complaint of the liver, together with the gravel. His medical attendants, after trying all their sklll, candidly told him that his ease wrs hopeless, and any further efforts useless. In this situation, and when expecting every day would terminate his existence, a friend recommended him to try Holloway’s Pills, and asa forlorn hope he did so; the first dose gave him considerable relief, he therefore persevered in taking them according to direetions, and is now restored to perfect health. He will forfeit any sum if he fails to cure any case that may come under his care, no matter how long standing or ayethom Dei as ulcers, tumors, nodes, bunehes, pimples on the face and body, pains in the bones and joints, wakefulness, trembling, copper colored sores, wasting of the bone, emaciation, loss of appetite, strength and flesh, sores in the nose and ears, loss of hair, weak eyes, itching, humors, &e. &e. Many persons, after being relieved of external appearances of private disease, suppose themselves cured; but, after a few months, find they are troubled with various symptoms which they never had before, and which they find it impossible to relieve. ‘ To all who are afflicted in this way, Dr. Young, would particularly recommend the trial of his skill. The symptoms with which you are troubled are caused by venereal taints in your blood, which, sooner or later, will destroy your health and happiness.
