the citizens of Calitornia that he has refitted
the rooms, and is now prepared to take all kinds of
Pictures known to the

Unsurpassed in the world; that he has made fiew

of the State, and would say to all such that, provided perfect satisfattion is not given, he Will not only
net ehfirge for work but will pay them for their
time dnd trouble in calling.
These arrangements huye been made in view of
the fact that the country is flocked with unskilful
operators, Whose work is not only wanting in chemcal effect, and everything that constitutes a good
picture, but owing to the improrer use of the chemicals Epployed, they are rendered ptrishable and
worthless,
To avoid the impositions practiced, the citizens of
this and the adjoining counties, and travellers, are
most respectfully invited to cal upon him at his
rooms, in Grass Valley, where he will be found
ready. at all times, andin ali kinds of weather, to
take pictures in the best style by all the various
