Nevada, Jan. 18, 1856.—tf BOLEY & BROUILLETTE, A) bey Boley & Brouillette would inform their friends A Vatce oF Tatttxes.—The following occurred in this town, and the correctness of the statement is within our personal knowledge. About the close of last spring, one of our. 82 F shrewd and experienced. miners bought a pile bringing of tailings, on American Hill, for the sun of. 22d, app forty dollars. Having set his sluice, and com-. rojpg menced shoveling in the tailings, on washirg up at the end of his first day’s work, he took out nearly three ounces, About a weck was occupied in putting the pile through, during which he never made less than dnounce a day. He then moved his sluice down, aid ran the pile threugh a second time, again realizing fifty dollars the first day, after which it was subjected to a third course of hydropathy, with a first day’s yield of forty dollars. His operation having now produced him about five hundred dollars, and the water giving out, he made a present of his pile to a miner who was “flat broke,” who, we doubt not, will still make a goed thing out of it, as s20n as the itehes are filled.
