Dr. Czapkay—Sir. Your medicine has been taken according to direction. I feel a little weak yet; in every otier way I am almost entirely recovered, and think in a short time I shall be as well as ever. Everybody that knows me is wondering what made such a change, for some friends thought I had consumption, and others said . was going crazy. Well 1 don’t know but they were both right, as I felt a good deal both ways, and thought if I didn’t die soon I would like to. [am not troubled any more with omissions, and the pain in my head and back and the weakness in my limbs have left me, and so has the dizziness, timidity and the wish always to be alone,I am not afraid to go in company now and am not so easily scared as I used to be, when any little thing would set me trembling. I have been at work this week, which is the first I have done for six months, and the thovght of it don’t discourage me like it used to. Indeed, I feel like another man, and it is all owing to your medicine and advice. You may publish this if you want to. Yours, &c., JOSEPH RATH. Sacramento, May 15, 1855. Dear Sir—Such is the thankfulness I feel for the preservation of my health of body and mind, and I helieve of my life, that I hope { will not be considered intrusive in tendering my thankful acknowlsdgements for restoring me to health, and making my life a boon worth preserving, when it had become u burthen too great for me to bear. Victim as 1 was to vice that had undermined my constitution, and developed a train of nervous symptoms, such as nervons debility, headache, distressing timidity, self-distrast, dizziness, love of solitude, loss of memory and want of resolation, besides a loss of strength and energy, which bad made my waking movements wretched and my sleep unrefreshing, and was fast bringing me to the grave; but thanks to your skill 1 am restored to health, vigor and energy. Hoping to guide others where they may find relief, you have my permission tot make this public. Gratefully yours, LEONARD WAITE To Dr. L. J. Czapkay, San Francisco. Marysville, June 3, 1855. Dr. L. J. Czapkay. San Francisco—Sir—I have used the last of your medicine, and do not think I shall need any more as I feel very well, except that I bave not entirely got my strength yet, but soon will with the appetite that Ihave. It is just three weeks, you may recollect, since I called at your Institute, with my constitation, as [ thought entirely broken, and never thought you would be able to cure me perfectly, but thought you might be! able to do something to ease the pain in my back and head and strengthen my limbs, which were so weak that they would almost give way under me when I walked, and to strengthen my nerves so that I would not get excited and tremble at every little thing. Now that you know what . expected youmay judge of my satisfaction at my complete recovery from those symptoms, and the removal of those splotches and sores from my skin, and the ulcers from my throat, and the entire stoppaga of those emissions, which you said were principally the cause of my sickness. I can hardly tell you which is the greatest, my y or my surprise, for except net having fully got my strength, . feel as well as any man can feel. Enclosed 1 send send you $20 over your charge, and think myself cheaply cured. 1f you think anytody will be benefitted, you may put this letter in the newspapers, Believe me, yours&c .THOS. Constitutional Debility, or Eminal Weakness.—Dr, Young addresses those who have injured themselves by private or improper indulgences in that secret and solitary habit which ruins the body and mind, unfitiing them for either business or society. As a Medical man it is the duty oy evory physician to look at disease as it affects health and life, and his sole object should be to mitigate, as far as lies in his power, the bodily suffering. Iuman nature at best is but frail, all are liable to misfortune, Of all the ills that affect man none are more terrible than those of a private nature. Dreadful as it is in the person who contracts it, frightful as are its ravages upon his constitution, ending frequently in destruction anda loathsome grave, it becomes of still greater importance : : : “abagye : . retain the urine. Cystits or Inflammation of the Bladder . When it is transmitted to innocent offspring. Such being of known respectability and high standing in society.— . the case how necessary it becomes that every one haying the least reason to fear that they have contracted the l:rities of the Menscs, when excessive, defective, sup. disease, should attend to it at once by consulting some physician, whose respectability and education enables him to warrant a safe, speedy, and permanent cure. In accordance with this necessity, UR. YOUNG feels called many new remedies, and guarantees a perfect cure in all . Upon to state that, by long study and extensive practice, he has become perfect master of all those diseases which come under the denomination of venereal. and having paid more attention to that one branch than any other physician in the United States, he feels himself’ bettar qualified to treat them. The Doctor effeots a cure in recent cases in av few days, and finds no difficulty in curing those of long duration, without submitting the patient to such treatment as will draw upon him the slightest suspicion, or oblige him to neglect his business, whether within doors or without.— The diet need not be changed, except in cases of severe inflamation. Therg are in California patients (amounting to over two thousand in the past year.) that could furnish proof of this; but these are matters that require the utmost secrecy, which he alwvys preserves. I had fora long time (four years) been troubled with that most dreadful scourage of yound people, seminal weakness or nocturnal emissions which so weakened me both body and mind that I was obliged to give up mining altogether. I consulted one of the best physicians (so called, jin the mountain districts, and after a careful examination of my case: he gave me medicines. T told him not. to fear to tell me the whole truth, for Ishould rather know the worst at once, than to live in suspence. I had lost about thirty pounds of flesh, and knew that he at least could not cure, me and as I was then going on, death must soon count me as One of its victims. This physician then told me that case was incurable; that I had better not take any more medicines, He said! was ina decline which was fast tending to pulmonary consumption. Z Dr. PAREIRAS’ GREAT ITALIAN REMEDY! Fo: the Certain and Speedy Cure” of Diseases of Private ,nature no matter how long standing, without any Injurious effects to the system, or any change of Diet. IT NEVER HAS FAILED—IT CANNOT FAIL TO CURE ! NPVHIS INVALUABLE SPECIFIC, first introduced into Pisa some Ffty years since, soon became se well known as a certain cure, that in every town and city, not only on the Continent, but in Graat Britain, the demand for it was so great—its merits so aston‘shing, that in less than one year from its introdnction it had supplanted all othbr remedtes. The Medieal Faculty of the principal cities of Europe were compelled to acknowleuge its wonderful mastery over every one else. Proprietors of other Medicine, jealous of its sway vainly endeavored to stay its onward progress, Like grass before the mower, their efforts fell to the ground ; and like fire on the pratries, sweeping all before it, its onward march became triumphant, It stood forthj upon its own merits; a discerning pablic saw, tried and were convinced of its MacicaL VirTcres. The massive fortune acquired by Dr.Pargira from the sale of it during the six years he prepared it, alone bore witness to its miraculous merits. At the decease of the Doctor, the recipe was bequeathed to his son, who has lately introduced the remedy into the United Sta‘es, The number of cures it has already made are astonishing. Thousands and tens of thousands can bear testimony to its efficacy. All who Use t', it will CURE with safety speed and certainty no other Medicine has ever possessed. Resort to no Quack Nostrums ! Use a Remedy that has been tried for the past fifty years, and was never known to fail. THIS GREAT WARRANTED RAWADY 2 IS PURELY VEVETABLE ! Beware of Counterfeit !
