By the use of Lacour’s entrated Acid, vinegar can be made for one dollarand sixty cents per barrel. FOR MAKING LIQUORS, Lacour’s Oils require no preparation—only pour the oil inte the Whiskey and shake well. The Liquors thus made will have a fine natural aroma, a full, rich, oily taste : a beautiful trans ent color anda fine bead. Lacour’s oils exert three tinct properties in converting common whisky to brandy gin, &e. The first property combines with and subsides in the form of floculent particles the whole of the crain oil, (Amylic Alcohol.) The Whiskey is thus deprived ot that peculiar irritating and burning taste, and becomes a neutral spirit; the second property consists in an oily mucillaginous taste imparted to the liquor, which renders it mellow, andimparts an appearance of great age ; the third property is exhibited in the rich vinous nutty odor that is imparted to the liquor, which reuders dis tinction from the genuine brands impossible, These oilsare put upin quart flasks : each flask con tains sufficient oil for making three hundred gallons of liquor, Fulian! comprehensive directions accompany the bottles.
