Dr. Czapkay—Sir. Your medicine has been taken according to direction. I tee] alittle weak yet;
in every other way I am almost entirely recovered,
and think in a short time I shall be as well as ever.
Everybody that knows me is wondering what made
such a change, for some friends thought I had consumption, and others said . was going crazy. Well
1 don’t know but they were both right, as I felt a
good deal both ways, and thought if I didn’t die
soon I would like to. [am not troubled any more
with omissions, and the pain in my head and back
and the weakness 1a my limbs have left me, and £0
has the dizziness, timidity and the wish always to
be alone, I am uot afraid to go in company now
and am not so easily scared as I used to be, when
any little thing would set me trembling. I have
been at work this week, which is the first I have
done for six months, and the thought of it don’t discourage me like it used to. Indeed, I feel like
another man, and it is all owing to your medicine
and advice. You may publish this if you want to.
Yours, &c., JOSEPH RATH.

cure me perfectly, but thought you might be; able
to do something to ease the pain in my back and
head and strengthen my limbe, which were £0
weak that they would almost give way under me
when I walked, and to strengthen my nerves so
that I would not get excited and tremble at every

recovery from those symptoms, and the removal of
those sp!otches and sores from my skin, and the
ulcers from my throat, end the entire stoppaga of

I can hardly tell you which is the greatest, my

of treatment of these maladies, ‘combines the imdrovements made by the medical faculty, with
discoveries of his own that are unknown to any

possibility of evil afterconsequences.
Secondary Syphilis, which is so destractive of
health, producing ulce rations ofthe throat, destroymg the soft parts, and leaving the bones exposed,
which mortify, separate, and come away, disfigur‘ng the sufferer most horribly, as well as impair-'
ug his general health, and predisposing to consumption, the Dr, treats in the most certain and
efficient manner. Also Buboes, painful swellings

Constitutional Debility, or Eminal Weakness.—Dr.
Young addresses thore who have injured themselves by
private or improper indulgences in that secret and solitary habit which ruins the body and mind, unfitting them
for either business or society. The following are some
of the sad and melancholy effects juced by early habits
of youth, viz: Weakness of the Back and Limbs, pain in
the head, dimness of sight, loss of muscular powe:, palpitatton of the heart, dyspepsia, nervousness, irratability,
derangement of the digestive functions, general debility,
symptoms vf consumption. &c.
MENTALLY the fearful effects on the mind are more to
be dreaded. Loss of Memory. confusion of Ideas, depreasion of Spirits.evil forbodings. aversion to society, selfdsstrust, love of solitude, timidity, &c, are some of the
evils produced.
All ms who are afflicted with any of the above
symptoms should not fail to call on Dr. Young, and be at
once restored to perfect health. Let no false delicacy

puTse is no malady of deeper importance, either ina
medical or tees csp of view, to which the human
family is more liable than that arising from impure connections.
As a Medical man it is the duty of every physician to
look at disease as it affects health and life. and his sole
object should be to mitigate, as fur as lies in his power,
the bodily suffering. Human nature at best is but frail,
all are liable to misfortune,
Of all the ills that affect man none are more terrible
than those of a private nature. Dreadful as it is in the
apes: who contracts it, frighiful as are its ravages upon
is constitution, ending frequently in destruction anda
loathsome grave, it becomes of still greater importance
when it is transmitted to innocent offspring. Such being
the case how necessary it becomes that every one having
the least reason to fear that they have contracted the
disease. should attend to it at once by consulting some
a whose respectability and education enables
im to warrant a safe. speedy, and permanent cure. In
accordance with this necessity, DR. YOUNG feels called
upon to state that, by long study and extensive practice,
he has become perfect master of all those diseases which
Come under the denomination of venereal. and having
paid more attention to that one branch than any other

The Doctor effests a cure in recent cases in a few days,
and finds no difficulty in curing those of long duration,
without submitting the patient to such treatment as will
draw upon him the slightest suspicion, or oblige him to
neglect his business, whether within doors or without.—
The diet need not be changed, except in cases of severe

Dear Sir—I have not had a single fit since I commenced
taking your medicines; I am also gaining strength every
day., The trouble that I had, which was the cause of the
fits, is also leaving me very fast. In fact, I think lamen
tirely well, but if you think it best, I will take medicinesa short time longer. It is only about two months since I
commenced taking your prescriptions, and althongh you
told me it would take from three to four months, yet I
feel perfectly wellalready. I feel sorry that I did not
visit you at first, and not allow myself to be led away by
the vain boasting of those quacks that cops your style of
business, and thereby impose upon the public. They dispoiled me of my money, and if I had not stopeped taking
their vile stuff. they would have robbed me of my life also.
Thanks to your superior medical skill, 1am beyond danger, and [shall always consider you the savior of my life.

for the information, but still more thankfull to you for the

OaKLaNp, Oct. 16, 1856. .
My Dear and Much Respected Friend—I address this to
you, in the hope that many young as well as old men, may
be benefited, as my only son has been been, from the use
of your Invigorating Cordial. For four months he had
been gradually wasting until, froma robust, healthy
young man, he had become a mere form of skin and bone;
his appetite was quite gone, his face cadaverously thin ;
he slept very little, and was continuously nervous, restless
and he seemed to wish to shun all company, liveliness or
excitement. Iu fact his mental faculties seem to be waning , his hesifation and shyness were painful to witness.
I will make this communication short. by stating that he
has taken three bottles of your Cordial ; and the change
effected in him is astonishing. He is now sturdy, healthy
robust, and in perfect health. I consider your Cordial
indeed a boon to mankind. JOUN R. TOOLY,
