promisory notes, set forth in said complaint, made

1258, March 3d, 1839 and May 4th, and thereby
intended to be secured the sum of $755 25, with interest on $400 dollars at che rate of 3 per cent. per
month from the date hereof until paid, and interest
on the sum of $21t 76, at the rate of 24 per cent. per
month from the date hereof unttt paid, and if anydeticiency shall remain after applying all of said
monies properly so applicable thereto, then that plain
tiffs may have execution therefor against the said
deiendants ; also, that said defendants and all and
every person claiming by, through or under them, .
subsequently tothe date of plaintiffs mortgage and .
the commencement of this action, may be barred and .
foreclosed of all right, claim. lien and equity of redemption in or to the said mortgaged premises or any .
part thereof, and for such other or further relief, or
both, in the premises as may be just and equitable, .
and for plaintiffs costs of this suit; and you are .

BARS, one-quarter of one per cent, on the value of
the bars.
WHEN RETURNS ARE MADE IN REFINED
BARS, tencents peroz.on the gross weight after
melting: and one-sixteenth of one per cent on the
va'ne of each bar over five thousand dollars ; on
each bar under five thousand dollars, ten cents per
oz. on the gross weight after melting and one-eighth
per cent on the value of the bar.
WHEN RETURNS ARE MADE IN UNITED
STATES COIN, ten cents per oz. on the gross weight
after melting, and one-half of one per cent for coinage ; being four cents per oz. less than the present
charge of the United States Branch Mint here.
Silver contained inthe Gold will be accounted for
to the depositor in the mannerand at the rate cuatomary at the U.S. Branch Mint.
Unparted bars will be delivered six hours from the
