board of directors of the corporation, calling said preferred stock for redemption, es aforesaid, end designeting the shares thereof called for redemption, 4f less than ali sre eo called, and a notice of such redemption shell be addreseed by the Secovetery or sAasiectant Secretary to each of the holders of the stock called fer redemption, whose names appear upon the books of the corporation, et their addresses, as the seme appear upon the books of the corporation, or, if their sddresses do not appear thereon, at the office of the corporation, zt least twenty (20) days before the day upon which sald preferred stock is te be redeemed, end said notice shall alec be published at least once in c¢ newspaper of general circulation in the City of Grass Valley, County of Nevada, State of Celifornia, at least one week before the dey upon which said preferred stock is to be redeemed; and if such resolution shell be adopted, and such notice shail be mailed and published, as aforesaid, ond if upon the day so fixed for redemption the corporation shall have set agide, end shall have on hand sufficient moneys te redeem ell, or the pert of said preferred stock so celled for redemption, thereupon, upon seid day, ell further rights of the owners and holders of the preferred stock so called for redemption shall cease and determine, except the right t payment of the said redemption moneys upon surrender to the corporation of the certificate or certificates of said preferred stock so called for redemption. ‘Phat each and every share of said capital stock, both preferred stock and common stock, when issued es fully paid shall be forever non-assessable, Vit.
