Fourth: To hold, purchase or otherwise acauire, to sell, assign, transfer, mortgage, pledge or otherwise dispose of shares of
the capital stock, bands or other evidences of indebtedness created
by other corporstion or corporations, and while the holder of such
stock to exercise all the rights and privileges of ownership, including the right to vote thereon, to the same extent as = netural
person might or could doe
Fifth: To pufchase, lease, exchange, hire or othervise acquire, any and sll rights, privileges, permits or franchises suitable or convenient for any of the purposes of its business; to erect
and construct, make, improve or aid or subscribe toward the construction, making and improvement of mills, smelters, syanide plants,
rock crushers, mining mills, mining plants, factories, storehouses,
buildings, jocks, piers, wharves, roads, houses end buildings snd
works and siructures of all kinds.
Sixth; To purchase, lease, bond or otherwise acquire, to
hold, own, maintein, work and develop and to sell, convey or otherwise dispose of mines of every nature and description, quarries,
ledges, placer mines, mining claims and oil lands and to do and conduct 2 general mining and milling business in all its branches; to
mine and extract gold, silver, copper and all other minerals from
the ground and from mines; to operate mining plants and mining
mills, rock crushers, syanide plants, smelters and all other mills,
plants or appliances generslly used in mining or conducting mines;
to use, sell or otherwise dispose of all or any of the by-products
of the mining business or any other business conducted by this corporation, and to condemn land for any of the purposes for which lands
may be condemned under the laws of the State of Califomnia.
Seventh: To make and onter into eontracts of every sort and
kind with any individual, firm, association or corporation, private,
public or municipal, body politic, and with the Covernment of the
United States, or any State, Territory or Colony thereof.
