Constitutional Debility, or Eminal Weakness.—Dr. Young addresses those who have injured themselves by private or improper indulgencea in that secret and solitary habit which ruins the body and mind, unfitting them for either business or society. The following are some of the sad and melancholy effects produced by early habits of youth, viz: Weakness of the Back and Limbs, pain in the head, dimness of sight, loss of muscular powe-, pal pitatton of the heart, dyspepsia, nervousness, irratability, derangement of the digestive functions, general debility, symptoms uf consumption. &e. Let no false delicacy prevent you, but apply immediately, and save yourseif trom the dreadful and awful consequeuces of this terrible malady. Weakness of the Organs immediately cured. and full vigor restored, DR, i C. YOUNG, corner California and Montgomery streets, up-stairs IMPORTANT To MINERS TRAVELERS, &c. HERE is no malady of deeper importance, either ina medical or moral poim of view, to which the human family is more liable than that arising from impure connections. As a Medical man it is the duty or every physician to look at disease as it affects health and life. and his sole object should be to mitigate, as fur as lies in his power, the bodily suffering. Human nature at best is but frail, all are liable to misfortune, Of ali the ills that affect man nono are more terrible than those of a private nature. Dreadful as it is in the ass who contracts it, frightful as are its ravages upon his constitution, ending frequently in destruction anda loathsome grave, it becomes of still greater importance when it is transmitted to innocent offspring. Such being the case how necessary it becomes that every one having the least reason to fear that they have contracted the disease. should attend to it at once by consulting some physician, whose respectability and education enables him to warrant a safe. speedy, and permanent cure. In accordance with this necessity, UR. YOUNG feels called upon to state that, by long study and extensive practice, he has become perfect master of all those diseases which come under the denomination of venereal. and having . paid more attention to that one branch than any other physician in the United States, he feels himself bettar qualified to treat them. Syphillis in all Its forms, such as Ulcers, SwellingYin the Groins. Ulcers, in the Throat. Secondary Syphilis. Cutaneous Eruptions, Ulcerations, Turtuary Syphilis, Syphilis in Children, Mercureal Syphilitic Affections, Gonorrhea, Gleet, Strictures, False Passages, Inflamation ef the Bladder and Prostrate Glands, Excoriations, Tumors, Postules, &c., are as familiar to him as the most common things of daily observation. The Doctor effeots a cure in recent cases in afew days, and finds no difficulty in curing those of long duration, without submitting the patient to such treatment as will draw upon him the slightest suspicion, or oblige him toe neglect his business, whether within doors or without.— The diet need not be changed, except in cases of severe inflamation. Theroa are in California patients (amounting to over two thousand in the past year.) that could furnish proof of this; but these are matters that require the utmost secrecy, which he alweys preserves. It is just three! weeks, yon may recollect, since I called at your Institute, with my constitution, as [ thought entirely broken, and never thought you would be able to cure me perfectly, but thonght you might be, able to do something to ease the pain in my back and head and strengthen my limbs, which were so weak that they would almost give way under me when I walked, and to strengthen my nerves so that . would not get excited and tremble at every little thing. Now that you know what I expected youmay judge of my satisfaction at my complete recovery from those symptoms, and the removal of those splotches and sores from my skin, and the uleers from my throat, and the entire stoppage of those emissions, which you said were principally the cause of my sickness. 1 can hardly tell you which is the greatest, my y or my surprise, for except not having fully got my strength, . feel as well as any man can feel. My Dear and Much Respected Friend—I address this to you, in the hope that many young as well as old men, may be benefited, as my only sen has been been, from the use of your Invigorating Cordial. For four months he had been gradually wasting until, froma robust, healthy young man, he had become a mere form of skin and bone; his appetite was quite gone, his face cadaverously thin ; he slept very little. and was continuously nervous, restles3 and he seemed to wish to shun all company, liveliness or excitement. Iu fact his mental faculties seem to be waning , his hesitation and shyness were painful to witness. { I will make this communication short. by stating that he has taken three bottles of your Cordial ; and the change effected in him is astonishing. Secondary Syphilis, which is so destructive of health, producing ulce rations of the throat, destroying the soft parts, and leaving the bones exposed, whieh mortify, separate, and come away, distiguring the sufferer most horribly, as well as impairtag his general health, and predisposing to consumption, the Dr. treats in the most certain and efficient manner. I am now periectly well, and wish to give my testimony to the public in favor of your skill. 1 was troubled with a complication of diseases brought on by that soul destroying habit of self-pollution, and complaints caught by connection with bad persons of the opposite sex. I have been treated by some of the best physicians as well as those quacks who invest the State. and by them all given up as incurable; but being advised by a friend who had been benefitted by your scientific treatment to call upon you, I did so. and feel grateful to him for the information, but still more thankfull to you for the care and good advice you gave me, as well as the effications medicines you prescribed. I think I cannot justify myself without giving this small token of my thankfulness and esteem, for you have been the means of saving my life, and restoring to me that hoalth whichI had so long despaired of again enjoying. I had fora long time (four years) been troubled with that most dreadful seourage of yound people, seminal weakness or nocturnal emissions which so weakened me both body and mind, that I was obliged to give up mining altogether. I consulted one of the best physicians (so called, )in the mountain districts, and after a careful examination of my case; he gave me medicines. I continued under his treatment for three months without receiving any benefit, in fact I grew worse from week to week, until at last I got discouraged and asked him for his opinion. I told him not to fear to tell me the whole truth, fur Ishould rather know the worst at once, than tolive in suspence. I bad lost about thirty pounds of flesh, and knew that he at Jeast could not cure,me and as I was then going on, death must soon count me as one of its victims. This physician then told me that ease was incurable; that I had better not take any more medicines. He said i was in a decline which was fast tending to pulmonary consumption. I then desired of obtaining any relief, and saw that unless something was done to mitigate the complaint that [ should be numbered with the dead, or what is worse. be araving maniac. Happening to see one of your books, the Pocket sculapius.I made up my mind at once to calland consult you with the determination of trying once more to get relief if you would undertake the case. For the Certain and Speedy Cure of Diseases of Private nature no matter how long standing without any Injurious effects to the system, or any change of Diet. IT NEVER HAS FAILED—IT CANNOT FAIL TO CURE! IPMS INVALUABLE SPECIFIC, first introduced into Visa some Ffty years since, soon became se well Known as a certain cure, that in every town and city, not only on the Continent, but in Graat Britain, the demand for it was so great—its merits so astonishing, that in leas than one year from its introdnetion it had supplanted all othbr remedtes. The Medieal Faculty of the principal cities of Europe were compelled to acknowleuge its wonderful mastery over every one else. Proprietors of other Medicine, jealous of its sway vainly endeavored to stay its onward progress, Like grass before the mower, their efforts fell to the ground ; and like fire on the prairies, Sweeping all before it, its onward march became triumphant, [tstood forth, upon its own merits; a discerning public saw, tried and were convinced of its MagicaL VirTUES. The massive fortune acquired by Dr.‘Pargira from the sale of it during the six years he prepared it, alone bore witness to its miraculous merits. At the decease of the Doctor, the recipe was bequeathed to his son, who has lately introduced the remedy into the United States. The number of cures it has already made are astonishing. Thousands and tens of thousands can bear testimony to its efficacy. : All who Use it, it will CURE with safety speed and certainty no other Medicine has ever possessed. Resort to no Quack Nostrums ! Use a Remedy that has been tried for the past fifty years, and was never known . to fail. THIS GREAT WARRANTAD REWRDY 2 Is PURELY VEVETABLE ! Beware of Counterfeit .
