New Incendiary Dociment.—We are
informed that at the late juvenile exhibition a thin skined member of the judieiary, mistaking slightly the paternity of
Warren’s address to the Americans,which
he wouldn't stay to hear, denounced it
im unmeasured terms,as a black Republican production, calculated to diminish niggers, dissolve the Union, reduce official fees, and prolong the dry
season. ‘T'o quiet the gentleman’snerves,
we learn that a supplemental performance will be given, in which a plug of
tobacco anda half a yard of cotton hela
together by an ebony darkie, will allegorically represent the United States.—
The American Eagle exhibits lis soundness on the wool question by scalping a
nigger baby,the orchestra execute with
accompaniaments “The land of the free
and the home of the brave,” while the
back ground will be supplied with an indefinite number of stripesand an ineredible pumber of stars.
We hope this exhibition will effectually neutralize any disunion proclivities
engendered in the community by the
recitation of the ode, and our judicial
friend recover his accustomed equaniinity,

Messrs Seth W Fowle & Co., Boston :—Gentlemen :—
Your OXGENATED BITTERS should be better known
in the Western country, for we have among us thousands
who are suffering from Dyspepsia. I feel that I am indebted to your Bitters for my recovery from this awful
disease. My habits at this time were se lentary, and my
complaint was aggravated by too close confinement I
despaired of relief, and considered myself a hopeless dyspeptic. Iconcluded to try the Oxgenated Bitters, and a
wise conclusion it proved to be. I have taken in all, four
bottles, and Iam cured. Although rather a small man,
mv present weight is 160 pounds. Your Bitters need
only to be known to havea very extensive sale in this
section of the county.

To the Citizens of Califoriia!
cr CAUTION! 24
AM INFORMED tha: ous liqn -r-mixers of New .
York, Boston, and San . ieiseo, are extensively engaged in putting up in square bottles, under varions titles, cheap imitations of my long established and renowned
Wolfe’s Scheidam Aromatic Schnapps.
Which adulterated compounds are intended to sell in
“alifornia ayainst my gennine article.
My object is toannonnece that I have recently estab
lishedan AGEN YIN SAN FRAN I CO for supplying
the State and Oregon with my Sehnapps. and that hereafter [ will always keep said agency supplied with a
large stock : so that respectable druggists aad liquor
fealers throughont California can always supply them
selves at a regular price, merely enough over the New
York price to cover eost of freight and charges ; tlin<
avoiding complaint ax heretofere, of oceasional scarcity
and extreme high price
Itis now many years since I fir-t imported these
chnapps from the celebrated distillery in ¢ eidam. Hol
land. in which I am interested. It is now conceded that
no Gin was ever imported into this conntry which has
approached my Schnapps in regard to PU RIT Y.
HEAL THFULNE SS, ani EXQUISITE AROMA or fia

al popularity and the immense and increasing consumption by all classes, north and south, east and west comprising the teinp we people. medical faculty. &e, 0
such an extent that my estabiishment, packing the enor
mous qua rtity of 8,000 botdes per day, is barely able to
fill its orders. .
Also, the Wolfe’s Schnapps have been analyzed by
the most celebrated Chemists, Drs. Mott and Deck, or
NewYork, and others who will certify that they are a
Perfectly Pure Medical Tonic

also prove my S‘hnapps perfectly clear of “the sec nd

component, produced by the o er distillation practiced
to increase the quantity in making ordinary Gin.”
The e statements are made with a view to iuvite com

confident that the trial will result in California just as it

I desire briefly to notice two facts which have lately
added largely to the use of Wolfe's Schnapps in the city
