ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF THE
GOLDEN EAGLE MINING COMPANY,
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That we, the undersigned, each and all of whom are
citizens and residents of the State of California, have this
'day associated, and do hereby associate ourselves together for
. the purpose of forming a corporation under the laws of the
' State of California; and we do hereby certify:
First: That the name of the Company hereby incor. porated is and shall be the "GOLDEN EAGLE MINING COMPANY",
Second: That the purposes for which it is formed,
are to acquire by purchase or otherwise, hold, let, lease,
mortgage, improve, develop, work, and deal in mines, mining
claims, and mining lands, and to mill, treat, reduce, dredge,
and sell the ore, minerals, metals, and products extracted
. therefrom and in general for the purpose of mining and carrying
(on mining operations within the State of California and as well
within any one or more of the States and’ Territories of the
‘United Stutes, without the State of California.
To. acquire, hold, sell, hire, let, lease, construct,
erect, build, and operate, stamp mills, and other mills, conoentwators, smelting works, dredges, steam and other power
plants and electric light plants convenient or necessary for
the Seinsye Hisaameds
To mill and reduce ores, either by milling or smelting
clorination, cyanide process, or otherwise, from the mines
owned or operated by this Company, or for others, to build and
operate water pumping plants, sluices, dams, and appliances and
processes convenient or necessary for the handling and treatment
of gravel or other material or substance, from which a recovery
of minerals or metals may be made, from the mines owned or
