wee Goto Hitt Destroyep sy Fire.— A fire broke out in J. Jobe’s store, on (rold Hill—a flourishing little mining town tubout thirteen miles from this place—which quickly communicated to other buildings adjoining, and soon the entire town was in flames. Four: teen buildings were destroyed. The loss, as nearly as can be ascertained, is about $20.000. Of this sum, Jobe is the heaviest sufferer, losing full $8,000.— But eight buildings are left standing. It is impossible to tell how the fire originated. The above information was received from Mr. John Rudsil. a resident of Gold Hill, and an eye witness to the destruction. The fire occurred on last Wednesday night. Fire at Grass VAaLLey.—A large brewery, on the Nevada road, was coneumed yesterday morning about five o’elock.
