By chemlcal process it has been} proved to possess ALTERATIVE, TONIC AND ANTI} DYSPEPTIC properties, superior far to those found in} any other medicinal beverage yet discovered. THE MEDICAL FACULTY of the State of New York prescribe it in almost every case for debility and lassitude, owing to its soothing effects on the system, and the absence.of 4 injurious minerals, chemicals or acids. 3 THE TURNER BROTHERS have in their possession Numerous certificates of its sanitive properties, from the; most eminent medical men in the United States, who have witnessed its efects on their patients, where it has been! administered in their extensive practice. ; j IT HAS BEEN ANALYZED by the most eminent chemists of New York city and Buffalo, where the Turner Brothers manufacture daily thousands of gallous, and so popular has it become, that they can hardly supply the demand, even when their stills ave kept in opergtion day and night. xe This Wine is acknowledged at the East to be the BEST} RESTORATIVE NOW IN USE where general pros-. tration of the system exists, or derangement of the fune-} tions of the digestiveorgans, as it braces the nerves anew, ; recoats the stomach, and creates an appetite when othe: tonics have failed. . -/Fhis EXCELLENT WINE is pleasant to the taste, anc} the strictest advocate of temperance cannot discover any intoxicating quality in it. It is wholly free from all sub-. stances that are injurious to health, hut on the contrary . its effects on the system of either invalids or persons in} rebust health, are ef the most beneficial description. —ew Caution to the Public. GRATITUDE Is THE COMPLETION OF THANKFULNESS The ingratitude of man to his fellow man is so often mét with in life that testimonials, prompted by the finer fee? ings of the heart, are oasis in the life of those who sacri fice their best days in philanthropic devotion to the al leviation of the ills of frail mortality. Empiracism floods the columns of our press with frandulent and. fictitious letters, singing peans to the worth of their own egotistical charlatanism. Below we append a letter froma worthy man who, a brief period since, seemed desviagd to, “shuffle off this mortal coil ;” who looked forward to his dissolution with that pleasure which only those weighed; down by the heavy hand of disease can. Contrary to hope, the ability of a skillful physician has restored him to his former health. Relieved from his terrible situation, and impelled by gratitude, he makes known his case yh remedial agent, and his statement is authenticated by a Notary Public. The demands of society imperiously. command its publicity, and it is given mere to warn the unwary than to sound the praise of a physician of whom scores of like cases can be cited : CERTIFICATE.—The undersigned desirous of acquaint ing those who may ke unfortunate enough to be similarly afflicted, where a permanent relief of their sufferings may be obtained, feels it his Guty tg, thus publicly ex press his most sincere gratitude to Dr. L. J. Czapkay fer the permanent recovery of his health. Borne doyn by the distressing symptoms ineident to the vigions practice of uncontrollable"passion in youth ; depressedim body and mind, unable to perform even the most tifiigg duly imposed upon the daily avecations of life; I sought the adviee of many physicians, who at first regarded my dis ease as ofa trifling importance—but alas ! after, a few weeks, and in several instances months, of their treat ment, ¥ found to my unutterable horror that instead of relief, the symptoms became more alarming in-thetr tor? ture ; and being told by one that my disease being prin cipally confined to the brain medicines would be of little consequence, I despaired of ever regaining my health strength and energy ; and as a last resort, and with but a faint hope, called upon Dr. L. J. Czapkay, who, after examining my case, prescribed some medicine which al most instantly relieyed me of the dull pain and diazines« in my head. Encouraged by this result, I resglyed to place myself immodiately under his care, and by a strigg, obedience to all his directions and advice, my head be came clear, my ideas collected, the constant pain in my back and groins, the weakness of my limbs, the nervous reaction of my whole body on the slightest alarm or ex citement ; the misanthrophy and evil forbodings ; tho self-distrust and want of confidence in others ; the inea pability toqstudy and want of resolution ; the frightfni exciting, and at times pleasurable dreams at night, fol lowed by involuntary discharges, have all disappeared : and in fact in two months after having consulted the Dr I felt as if Iwas inspired by a new lifo—that life whieb but a short time ago, I contemplated to end hy my own hand. With a view to guard tha, uniprtunate from falling into the snares of incompetent quacks I deem it my daty to offer this testimony to the merit and skill of Dr, Czapkay and recommend him to all who may staud in need of medical advice, being assmed by my own experience, that once under, bis gare a radical and permanent cure will be effect@th B.
