And quaintly call it the belle ; assion.
Old bachelors, who wear the willow,
May dream of love and hog the pillow,
ilst love, in poet's fancy rhyming,
all the bells of folly chiming.
But women, charming women, prove
The sweet varieties of lowe;
They can love all, but nowe too dearly,
‘Tete husbands, too, but not iyThey'll love a thing, whose outward shape
him twin brother to an ape;
‘NM take a miser for his riches,
wed a beggar without breeches.
Kerry as if in love with ruin,
to their sure undoing;
A drankard, raving, swearing, storming,
For the dear pleasure of reiorming.
‘Nl wed a lord, whose breath shall falter
Whilst he’s crawling from the altar;
be ia there women will not do,
hen they love men and money too?
