grate AND County Taxes.—The Super-sisors have levied the County tax, for the year
1862, amounting in all to $1 38 on the-hundred dollars, as follows: General fund, 53’ cents;
special fund, 40 cents, indigent sick fund, 10 .
gents; road fund 5 cents. To this must be added the regular State tax of 62 cents, which
will makea total of two dollars taxes onevery
yundred dollars valuation. ‘Bhe Board have
waited a couple of days, in hopes that the Legislature would make some disposition of the
Hill for collecting’ the war tax. The revenue .
law requires the Supervisors to levy
tax prior to the first Monday in March; to add
thereto the State tax, and furnish the Assessor
acertified copy of the ordér, so that he can
commence his work. The Board will adjourn
this evening, and wnless information can be obtained by telegraph of some defiinite action on
the billl lately pending before the Legislature,
no levy can be made for the war tax. .
Tue WeatHerR.—The change of the moon .

making them more intelligible.
